What Is CMYK Printing?

CMYK is a full-color printing process that uses four inks—Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black—blended together to produce a wide range of colors. It is also commonly referred to as full color, process color, or four-color printing.

CMYK is best suited for photographic images and artwork containing a wide range of colors. While CMYK can reproduce detailed, colorful graphics, it may not provide the same level of exact color matching as a specific spot or Pantone color.

At M&M Industries, in-house Heat Transfer Labeling (HTL) uses CMYK printing. In-Mold Labeling (IML) can use CMYK, spot colors, or a combination of both.
